Ask three people for a website and you may get three prices that look unrelated. That’s not always someone being dishonest: "a website" can mean a one-page presentation or an online shop with payments and stock. The useful question isn’t "how much?", it’s "what exactly is included?".
The five things that set the price
- Number of pages and sections: a one-page site and a 10-page site are different jobs.
- Languages: French, Arabic (right-to-left) and English each need their own text and checks.
- Features: WhatsApp buttons are simple; online payment, bookings or accounts take much more work.
- Content: do you already have photos and texts, or do they need to be written and produced?
- Design: a ready-made template versus a design made for your brand.
The costs people forget
- The domain name (your .com or .ma), renewed every year.
- Hosting, which can be very cheap for a simple, fast site.
- Changes after launch: who updates prices, photos and opening hours?
- Who owns the site, the domain and the accounts at the end. It should be you.
Start smaller than you think
For many local businesses, a fast mobile site with clear services, real photos and a WhatsApp button does most of the work. You can add a shop or bookings later, once you know customers want them. Starting prices for each type of site are listed on the Services page.
