Searches like "plumber Casablanca", "pharmacie de garde Rabat" or "best tacos near me" are local searches. People typing them are often ready to call or visit today. Local SEO is the work that helps your business appear in those results, on the map and in the normal list below it.
The four foundations
- A complete Google Business Profile: right category, true hours, real photos, services listed.
- The same name, address and phone everywhere: your profile, website, Facebook, Instagram and directories.
- A website that says clearly what you do and in which city, with one page per main service if you offer several.
- Genuine reviews that keep coming, with replies from you.
Use the words your customers use
In Morocco, people search in French, in Arabic and in a mix of both. A renovation company might be found through "rénovation appartement Casablanca", "faux plafond" or "ديكور". Write your pages and your profile with the words real customers type, not only the words your industry uses.
Promises to run from
- "First page of Google guaranteed in 7 days."
- "We’ll add 100 five-star reviews."
- "We’ll put 20 cities in your business name."
All three can get a profile penalised. Good local SEO is slower and less exciting: accurate information, useful pages and real reviews, done consistently. It works because it’s what Google is trying to reward.
